This version of the agreement replaces any previous versions.
1.1 Scope: These terms of purchase apply to all agreements for the purchase of goods entered into between Venture Design AB, corporate ID number 556787–4424 (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”), and the consumer placing the order (referred to as “you,” “your,” or “yours”) via www.venturedesign.se (the “Website”).

1.3 Response Times: We aim to respond to email inquiries within twenty-four (24) hours on business days. During peak season (May–August), response times may be longer due to high demand.
1.4 User Account: To purchase goods or register a user account, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally competent. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent, in accordance with the Swedish Parental Code.
1.5 Acceptance of Terms: By registering a user account and/or purchasing goods from us, you accept these terms of purchase and confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
2.1 Placing an Order: Orders for goods are placed via the Website.
2.2 Customer Information: You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including but not limited to customer and contact details as well as the delivery address. We are not liable for consequences resulting from incorrect information. If a return occurs due to incorrect information (e.g., misspelled name or wrong address), we reserve the right to charge a fee of 199 SEK to cover handling costs, which you are obligated to pay. If you realize you’ve provided incorrect information and the item has not yet been delivered, you may contact us to cancel the order.
2.3 Binding Agreement: A binding purchase agreement is formed when we confirm your order by sending an order confirmation to the email address you provided.
2.4 Order Confirmation: After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This includes details such as item numbers, prices, billing and delivery addresses. If you do not receive the confirmation, check your spam folder and contact customer service if needed.
2.5 Errors: We disclaim responsibility for any errors in the order confirmation that you noticed or should have noticed, such as pricing or product information. If such errors occur, a revised confirmation (and invoice, if applicable) will be sent. You may cancel the order at no cost if you do not accept the corrections.
2.6 Fraud: All crimes (e.g., fraud or data breaches) will be reported to the police, even on suspicion. We reserve the right to deny or cancel your purchase if we suspect fraud or misuse of the Website.
2.7 Customer Cancellation: You may cancel an order before it has been delivered. In such cases, we are entitled to compensation for:
1. specific costs incurred in entering and fulfilling the purchase agreement that cannot be recovered otherwise,
2. specific costs due to the cancellation, and
3. other losses in a reasonable amount based on the item’s price, timing of cancellation, work done, and other circumstances.
Cancellation after delivery is not possible. If you change your mind after delivery, the right of withdrawal rules (Section 5) apply.
3.1 Prices: All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT.
3.2 Discounts: Discounts cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with other offers. They are valid for a limited time and must be used within the validity period and before completing the order. Discounts may be used only once per order or per customer unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Shipping Fees: Available delivery options and times are shown at checkout based on the item type and delivery address. Current shipping fees:
· Orders under 2000 SEK: 49 SEK shipping fee
· Orders over 2000 SEK: Free shipping
· Return fee (Service point): 45 SEK
· Return fee (Home delivery): 195 SEK
If your order is split into multiple deliveries, a shipping fee will be charged for each.
3.4 Payment Service Providers: Payment is made through the available methods offered by integrated payment providers at checkout. By using a payment provider, you accept their terms and data processing policies. You are responsible for reviewing these before completing payment.
3.5 Payment Methods: We currently offer:
· Klarna (with Klarna’s terms and privacy policy)
· Card payment
· SWISH
3.6 Accepted Payment Methods: We only accept the payment methods listed above. Do not send checks, cash, or stamps by mail.
4.1 Delivery Methods: Delivery options vary based on your address and the type of goods. We offer:
· Service point pickup
· Home delivery: To the property line for houses, or to the building entrance for apartments.
4.2 Delivery Inspection:
All items should be free from defects upon delivery. You are advised to inspect the delivery to ensure it is correct and undamaged. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us promptly to file a complaint. If the package appears damaged or opened, do not accept it—let it be returned to us and notify us immediately.
4.3 Unclaimed Packages:
You are responsible for collecting packages from the service point within the time stated on the notice. We reserve the right to charge a fee of 199 SEK per unclaimed package returned to us, covering return shipping and handling.
4.4 Delivery Time:
Estimated delivery time is stated in the order confirmation and/or on the product page. Delivery may take longer during holidays (e.g., Christmas, Black Friday) and summer months (May–August).
5.1 General: According to the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (SFS 2005:59), you as a consumer have the right to withdraw from a distance contract or a contract concluded outside the seller’s business premises within the withdrawal period without providing any reason, provided the conditions for the right of withdrawal are met. The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days.
5.2 Calculation of the Withdrawal Period: The withdrawal period is the time during which you may exercise your right of withdrawal.
· For services, the period begins on the day the agreement is entered into.
· For goods, the period begins on the day you receive the item (e.g., when you collect the package from the service point).If you ordered multiple items delivered separately, or an item consisting of several parts, the period begins when you receive the last item or part.
If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day. Note that failing to collect a package or refusing delivery does not count as exercising the right of withdrawal.
5.3 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. Therefore, purchases of customized posters are not covered, as they are produced according to your selected dimensions and design.
5.4 Deduction for Depreciation: You must return the item complete, including all parts, accessories, manuals, etc. We are entitled to deduct for any depreciation in the item’s value (compared to its original value) if the depreciation is due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature or function. This deduction is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
5.5 Notification of Withdrawal: If you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must clearly notify us within the withdrawal period. Notification can be oral or written, but we recommend written notice for proof.

To avoid errors or delays, please include your order number, customer number, and other relevant information. You will receive confirmation when your email is received.
5.6 Return Process: If you withdraw from your purchase and the item has been delivered, it must be returned to us well-packaged and, if possible, in its original packaging within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day you notified us. 5.7 Refund: If you withdraw within the withdrawal period and the right of withdrawal applies, we will refund what you paid, including the item price, delivery costs, and any invoice fees, minus any depreciation deductions.
We aim to issue refunds within fourteen (14) calendar days from receiving your withdrawal notice. However, we reserve the right to wait until either (i) the item has been returned to our warehouse, or (ii) we receive proof of return. Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed. Bank processing times may delay the appearance of funds in your account.
5.8 Please Note: Items returned via cash on delivery will not be accepted. Any outstanding invoice with the payment provider must still be paid by the due date, even if the item is returned.
6.1 General: You have the right to file a complaint about a defective item or delayed delivery. As a consumer, you may invoke the remedies provided under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (SFS 2022:260). These rights are not affected by any warranty offers. You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering or reasonably should have discovered the defect. A complaint made within two (2) months of discovering the defect is always considered timely.
6.2 Complaint Process: If you wish to file a complaint about a defective item or delayed delivery, you must clearly notify us within the complaint period. Notification can be oral or written, but we recommend written communication for proof. Please follow this process:
· Visit our website www.venturedesign.se and log in.
· Under “MY PAGES,” you’ll find your orders and item details. Click the “FILE A COMPLAINT” button, fill out the form, and submit it.
You may also file a complaint by calling customer service at +46 470 55 40 00, or by email to order@venturedesign.se, or by post to Deltavägen, 352 45 Växjö.
If you file a complaint via email, please include:
· Order number
· Item number
· Quantity of items
· Description of the defect
· Photo(s) showing the defect, preferably from multiple angles
· Photo of the product label (with item number or similar marking)
If any information is missing, we may request it later. Once our customer service has received all necessary information, they will offer solutions based on the nature of the defect.
If you accept a price reduction or other compensation as a resolution, the case is considered closed and you cannot later complain about the same defect. However, this does not affect your right to complain about other defects. If you still choose to return the item, you will not be charged any fees or return shipping.
6.3 Return Process: Information about the return process is available on the Website: Return process - Venture design
6.4 Complaints Due to Delay: You may have the right to cancel the purchase in case of delivery delays. However, a complaint due to delay does not automatically cancel the purchase agreement. We may still fulfill the order within a reasonable time. If delivery is not possible, the item will be canceled and you will be refunded.
6.5 Complaints Due to Defects: Under the Consumer Sales Act, you may claim remedies for defects for three (3) years and two (2) months from the date you received the item, provided the defect existed at delivery or resulted from an original fault (manufacturing defect).
6.6 Remedies for Defects: If the item is defective, you have the following rights:
a) Repair or Replacement: You may request that we fix the defect or replace the item with a new one.
b) Price Reduction or Cancellation: If repair or replacement is not possible or cannot be done within a reasonable time, you may request a price reduction or cancel the purchase.
c) Compensation for Self-Repair: If we do not fix the defect in time, you may repair it yourself and claim compensation.
d) Damages: You may claim compensation for losses caused by the defect, such as extra costs or lost income.
e) Withholding Payment: You may withhold payment until the defect is resolved.
6.7 Special Note on Repairs: We are only obligated to repair or replace the item if it can be done without unreasonable cost. This must be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. If replacement is agreed, we will collect the defective item at our expense.
6.8 Transport Damage: If the item is visibly damaged upon delivery, ask the driver to note this on the delivery slip. Unpack and inspect the item promptly. If damage is found, report it to us within three (3) calendar days so we can notify the carrier. Follow the complaint process in Section 6.2.
6.9 Return Shipping Costs:
6.9.1 Approved Complaint: We cover return shipping and shipping for a replacement item. Compensation is paid within thirty (30) calendar days using the same payment method as the original purchase.
6.9.2 Rejected Complaint: If the item is not defective under applicable law, the complaint will be rejected. You must then cover return shipping and administrative costs.
6.10 Please Note:
Items returned via cash on delivery will not be accepted. Any outstanding invoice with the payment provider must still be paid by the due date, even if the item is returned.
7.1 Warranty Period: The manufacturer of the electronic products we sell offers a one (1) year warranty on all electronics. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Your invoice or delivery note serves as your proof of warranty. The warranty does not apply if the item has been mishandled. Therefore, it is important that you read the user manual provided to ensure the item is handled and installed correctly.
7.2 Approved Warranty Claim: If the warranty claim is approved, we will cover the shipping costs. We will either deliver a new, defect-free item or, if replacement is not possible, issue a full refund.
7.3 Rejected Warranty Claim: If the warranty claim is not approved, you are responsible for reimbursing us for the return shipping and any administrative costs incurred due to the warranty case.
8.1 Force Majeure: You, as a consumer, are not entitled to compensation from us if we are delayed or if a product is defective, provided we can demonstrate that the delay or defect is due to an obstacle beyond our control (i) that we could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of purchase, and (ii) whose consequences we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to: fire, flood, government actions or inactions, new or amended legislation, labor disputes, blockades, sabotage, major accidents, or government decisions negatively affecting the market or products (e.g., restrictions, warnings, sales bans). If the delay or defect is due to a party we have engaged to fulfill the agreement, we are only exempt from liability if that party would also be exempt under this clause. The same applies if the delay or defect is due to a supplier or another party in the supply chain.
8.2 Third-Party Services, etc.: We are not responsible for third-party applications, plugins, services, products, websites, or similar. We are also not responsible for external links or the content of external links found on the Website.
8.3 Limitations: We are not liable for indirect damages caused by the product, unless required by mandatory legislation. We hereby limit our liability to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8.4 Color Variations and Image Representation: We strive to display products as accurately as possible on our Website, social media, etc., but we do not guarantee that images reflect the exact appearance of the products. Color differences may occur due to screen settings, photo quality, and resolution. All images should be considered illustrations and may not accurately represent the product’s appearance or condition. Individual screen settings and monitors may affect how colors appear. Minor discrepancies between product images and actual products are not grounds for complaint. Note that AI-generated images may also be used in marketing or on the Website. These are intended to illustrate style, ambiance, and usage context, and should not be interpreted as exact representations of specific products.
8.5 Printing and Typographical Errors: We reserve the right for any printing or typographical errors, such as clearly incorrect product information, stock levels, or prices, that you realized or should have realized were incorrect.
8.6 Limited Liability for Property Damage and Material Changes: We are not liable for damage to your or others’ property if the product is used contrary to the care instructions and user manuals provided. It is your responsibility—or the user’s—to ensure the product is handled, installed, and maintained according to instructions. For example, if the product causes scratches on floors, marks on walls, or color transfer during installation or use due to improper handling or normal wear and tear, we are not liable. We are also not responsible for expected material changes over time, such as fabric or wood fading due to sunlight exposure. However, we are liable under law if the damage is due to an original defect in the product.
9.1 Intellectual Property Rights: We or our licensors own all intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademark rights, related to the Website and its content. We do not transfer or assign any intellectual property rights to you or any other party under these terms of purchase. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit our intellectual property rights.
10.1 Privacy Notice: We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/697 ("GDPR"), in order to, among other things, enter into and fulfill the purchase agreement. 12.1 Notices: You agree that we may communicate information, documentation, and documents related to your order via email to the address you provided when placing the order. Notices concerning the purchase agreement may be sent in writing via email, registered mail, or courier to the parties’ specified contact details. Each party must confirm receipt of the notice without undue delay. A notice is considered received:
a) if sent by email: when the message has been sent to the recipient’s email address, provided the sender does not receive a delivery error message;
b) if sent by registered mail: on the fifth business day after it was handed over for postal delivery;
c) if delivered by courier: upon delivery.
13.1 Assignment: We have the right to assign the agreement, in whole or in part, including our rights and/or obligations under the purchase agreement, without your prior consent. This includes the right to engage subcontractors to fulfill our contractual obligations. You may not assign the agreement or your rights or obligations under it without our prior written consent.
13.2 Invalidity of Provisions: If any provision of the agreement, or part thereof, is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a Swedish court, arbitration board, or the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), this shall not render the entire agreement invalid. Instead, a reasonable adjustment shall be made to the agreement to the extent the invalidity materially affects a party’s benefit or performance under the agreement.
13.3 Survival of Provisions: Provisions regarding intellectual property rights, applicable law, dispute resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature are intended to survive the fulfillment or termination of the agreement shall remain binding even after the agreement has been fulfilled or terminated.
13.4 Amendments and Current Terms: We reserve the right to amend our terms at any time without prior notice. The version of the terms that is current and published on the Website at the time of your order is binding for that purchase. You are responsible for staying informed about the terms applicable to your order.
14.1 Governing Law: These terms of purchase and the purchase agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law. In the event of a dispute, Swedish law shall apply, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection legislation in the country where you, as a consumer, have your habitual residence.
14.2 Dispute Resolution: We always recommend attempting to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation before taking legal action. If you have any complaints or are involved in a dispute with us, you have the right to contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). ARN is a government agency that impartially and objectively resolves certain types of disputes between consumers and businesses. A filing fee of 150 SEK is charged to submit a case to ARN. Finally, if a dispute between you and us cannot be resolved through the above options, the dispute may be brought before a general court in Sweden, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
